Job Overview

 

We are looking for an Assistant Manager SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. The candidate should be an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase company’s profitability. Planning, implementing and managing SEO strategy. As online presence is extremely important for the success of business, your position will play a huge role in driving business growth and success.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2-4 Years as SEO Specialist or similar role yielding results for projects from varied industries
  • Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
  • Proven success in SEO Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices of HTML/CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with SEO reporting
  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., SEMrush, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Trends)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
  • In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analysing data

Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool:

  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
  • Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement SEO strategy for multiple Verticals.
  • Identify buyer persona to better target identified audiences.
  • Identify problems and deficiency, implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with web developers and Product team.
  • Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization.
  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs.
  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages and search copy.
  • Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building)
  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects.
  • Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns.
  • Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends.
